BBQ.
Garden, garden, garden.
BBQ. Alcohol, alcohol, alcohol. FOOD! Great friends with all the college kids attending!
Dog walk.
Starbucks. Guy in front of me, “I would like an iced soy chai, no water, double chai and not too much ice.”
Seriously! It’s Sunday morning, have a friggin’ cup of coffee like a normal person!
Pick up kid in Westchester.
Garden center, pedicure, BBQ. (less alcohol)
Snoring on the couch.
Tomorrow…
Garden. BEACH! And for something different.
BBQ.
And you?

Gorgeous entire day at the park.
Out the door with the 8 yr. old, rollerblades, swimsuits and loaded bikes before 8am. Perfect blue sky day. Trails ridden, oddly, no skinned knees, or worse, and no crying. ? Napping, reading, some swimming in the too cold lake. If you can call wading in up to my knees, I swam too.
Missed Night at the Museum/Smithsonian matinee. Promises to go tomorrow. Dog ate several brats before they saw the grill. One too-short nap. More food. Mr. Grumpy snoring. Will admit to rather enjoyable end-of-day-house-cleaning. Really feels like summer. Finally.
Ditto. Except we don’t have a dog. Or college kids. Or beach.
Hey wait! It’s just the bbq & drinking part.
Enjoy your day!
Coffee. Sex. French toast. Wine. Burgers. Wine.
Sounds like a divine day to me. right?!
Cleaning, baking brownies, making Jello, BBQ for family, dinner with family, clean up after family, send family back to their own houses, check email, put feet up, ahhhhh.
Sounds like you had a nice day 🙂
confession: if i was at Starbucks i would have gotten almost the exact same chai
